Repetition is a wonderful pattern for perfecting skills and is a normal, useful part of life. However research shows the primary cause of chronic pain and sudden chronic pain is repetitive movements and postures, not aging or muscle tension.
These repetitive patterns take a toll on the bodies connective tissue (the layer of tissue that houses the majority of our sensory nerve endings.)
Connective tissue covers every organ, muscle, bone, joint, fiber of our being underneath our skin.
The fact that chronic pain is so prevalent means we need to address how to care for our system to live a life of vitality.
With self-massage techniques & healthy postural awareness we can undo repetition's negative effects on the mind and body. Restoring and rehydrating our bodies connective tissue balances our breath, digestion and nervous system releasing energies of aliveness, passion and focus.
